Friday, June 16th

Events at the Park

*** Due to anticipated poor weather tonight, many of the gazebo events will held inside the Stuart Rec Center Skating Rink instead ***

5:00 – 7:00 pm
Evening Meal (WCV Wrestling) – Meal provided by WCV Wrestling at the Lawbaugh Park Shelter House

5:45 pm
Kiddie Parade – Starts at the Stuart Aquatic Center, ends at the Stuart American Legion/Rec Center Skating Rink. Registration takes place from 5:15-5:45 at the Lawbaugh Park Basketball Court.

6:00 pm
Little Stinker Contest, Father of the Year Award, Grand Marshal, Citizen of the Year Award – Awards presentation at the Stuart Rec Center.

6:30 pm
Main Street Dance Performance – Show at the Stuart Rec Center.

7:00 – 8:30 pm
Bill Riley Talent Show – Show at the Stuart Rec Center.

Street Dance (Audible Minds) – Watch Audible Minds perform in downtown Stuart. Street dance takes place inside of Ruby’s Pub. Free Admission.

Saturday, June 17th

Events at the Park

8:00 am
5k Road Race & Walk – Starts and Finishes at the Lawbaugh Park. Make sure to register ahead of time. Click here for the registration form.

Softball Tournament – Takes place at the city softball fields.

9:30 am
3×3 Basketball Tournament – Takes place at the Lawbaugh Park Basketball Court. Make sure to register your team early. Click here for registration form.

9:00 am
Parade Check-In and Line-Up – Starts at the intersection between SW 7th and SW 8th Streets.

11:00 am
Parade, National Anthem (Beth Belden & Heidi Link) – The parade will START at the intersection between SW 7th and SW 8th Streets. The parade will PAUSE at Lawbaugh Park, then END at First State Bank.

Community Breakfast – Enjoy a nice breakfast at Foxy’s Den.

STREET CLOSES – Streets in downtown Stuart will be closed (except for vendor setup and parade).

*Cooling Station* – See the Iowa Egg Council Traveling Egg Display and play some Cribbage and other games. Takes place at the Stuart City Hall.

10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Vendors – Food and Retail – Check out the various vendors downtown – including the Iowa Egg Council Trivia Booth and Rolling Hills Stables.

Noon – 2:00 pm
Community Meal (Lions Club) – Have a great lunch at Wilson’s grass lot near downtown.

Egg-tivity Tent: Carnival Games, Big Bubbles, Face Cut-Out Photos, Spin-Art, etc. – Check out all the great activities at the Chamber tent next to the Stuart Herald.

Inflatables from TJ Party Rentals – Jump on some inflatables at NE/NW 2nd Street.

Scavenger Hunt – Try out the scavenger hunt at Pocket Park. Winners announced at 4 pm.

Open House – Stop by and get a good look at the Stuart Depot.

Fire Department Dunk Tank – Check out the dunk tank and enjoy some snow cones. Located at the Miller Plumbing parking lot.

Cars 3 Showing – The Stuart Fremont Theatre will be showing Cars 3 all weekend.

Ice Cream Social – Ice cream and conversation at First Congregational Church. Also will include a Retirement Open House for Sharon Sloss.

Egg Toss Contest – Located at N Division Street (in front of Miller Plumbing)

Alumni Banquet – Held at WCV High School.

Teen Dance (6th Grade+) – In front of the Stuart Herald, admission is $5.

Street Dance: Stone Thro – Enjoy some great music in downtown Stuart. Street dance will take place in front of Johnie’s Tap and Ruby’s Pub. Admission is $5.

Sunday, June 18th

1:00 – 3:00 pm
Lawn Mower Races (gates open at 11am) – Watch some lawn mower racing at the Stuart International Speedway. Admission is $5+.
